HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA......that's all I have to say.....

I just saw this on someone's blog and thought it was freakin hilarious! Enjoy!

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine".

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . That will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Finally!!

I finally got internet access again after a week and a half of being without it. You would not believe how frustrating that was! ;) We moved, had Christmas, had New Years Eve, and some other activities. So needless to say, that week and a half set me back on blogging. I finally got around to updating, but I'm sorry the posts aren't very long. I may go back and add things to them as I remember them, but for now, they'll do.

ENJOY!

A hiking we will go...

Today was such a beautiful day, we decided to take the kids out to Friedrich Wilderness park. We've been here quite a few times, but now we live super close to it, so I'm sure we will be frequenting it more often.

Our new house!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???? There is a holy lot of pictures here, so I am very sorry, but it's a big house, and I wanted to show it off. I will just give a brief summary of where we are now....

Scenic Oaks (guarded) neighborhood
3500 sq feet
4 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs)
3 full baths
3 half baths
GIANT backyard with a treehouse AND a POOL!! (we are hoping to live here long enough to get to use it!)
I have a little house out back that I am going to put my workout stuff in. So it's like a little workout house! YAY!
The kids have a nice playroom upstairs too.

We are renting this house until someone buys it. Basically we are living in a "model home". I keep the house nice and tidy to show (if someone wants to see it) and we get it for a reduced rent. Let's hope no one likes it....LOL!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010! Already? Another bittersweet moment this year- New Year's. My family always has a GIANT party, has everyone over, stays up till 3 am, eating junk and playing nertz. Well, we only did part of that list. All of our friends were either out of town, or already had plans, so it was just us for new years eve this year. I made cookies, popcorn, and we had a bunch of leftover candy and bubbly to eat. I bought some party hats, party horns (i hate those by the way), streamers, and little firecrackers. We told the kids we were having a party and they were SO EXCITED! Seriously, you'd think we said we were going to disneyland or something by the way they were acting. It was so cute. I'm glad they were excited, though, because it made me excited to be with them. We played Beatles Rock Band and Shawn white snowboarding (Thanks mom and kate!), ate too much junk, and shouted HAPPY NEW YEAR out in our yard. The kids went to bed by 930 (hey, there's NO WAY they will ever know that wasn't the end of the party), and matt and I stayed up till 11 and watched the ball drop in Time's Square on the East Coast. Who said it had to be midnight HERE? and besides, I have been so exhausted from moving out, moving in, and the hullabaloo of partys, I seriously don't think I could've made it another hour!

Gingerbread house and EXTRA PRESENTS!

Somehow, I forgot to post these earlier, so there's some from the old house and some from the new house!
...we made a gingerbread house on one of our last days at our old house--the kids did a super job! And then we got a package- a week late!- from aunt Katie, Aunt Amy, and Grandma Sheryl--so we got to open MORE christmas presents! (by the way- it wasn't kate's fault that the package was late--it was the dumb postman's fault!)

Christmas day 2009

Merry Christmas!! We got totally spoiled this year! A bit bittersweet though, because I desperately wished I was with my mom, dad, and sisters. (this is the first christmas in my ENTIRE life that I haven't been with them) We made it through...barely. The kids were so stinkin excited to open presents, and I think Lexie enjoyed watching everyone and going after what they just opened the best! Enjoy!!
