Swimming at the Hot Springs

We got to go to the Hot Springs a couple of times while we were in Idaho.  I love that you can rent out the Hot Springs, and you have the whole place to yourself! The kids loved it, of course, and so did I because it kept them occupied for an hour and a half.

Sydnee's Birthday..bowling..swimming...cupcakes!

So it was FINALLY Sydnee's actual birthday! She had already had 2 parties, so we took it easy on the actual day.  We went swimming at Black Canyon Dam, went bowling, had pizza and decorated cupcakes.  I think, overall, she had some really great birthdays this year! ;)

Bowling in Idaho

While we were at my mom's we got to go bowling a couple of times. My kids had never been bowling, and they loved it! Lexie was kind of a crazy person, but what else is new?? :)

Boise Zoo July 22nd

On July 22nd, we headed down to the Boise Zoo.  It's much smaller than San Antonio's zoo, but it's very nice.  and it only cost $1 for us to get in-- gotta love that!  The kids especially loved the Tigers (you could get very close) and the giant giraffe slide. I believe the sign said it was as big as a real giraffe.  Huge!

The Wizard of Oz outdoor play July 21

We went to a really fun outdoor play in the mountains! It was the Wizard of Oz and we had front row seats. Mind you, this was a tiny theater, in a tiny town, but we had fun nonetheless and the kids got to meet all the actors during intermission.

Miscellaneous Idaho July 2010

Wow- we had SO.MUCH.FUN at my mom's in Idaho.  She has a beeeuuutiiifuuullll house that is just perfect for her and my dad.  Seriously, it couldn't be more gorgeous.  She had so many fun things planned for us to do.  These are just a few pics of some stuff we were up to 4wheeler rides (we had to pry the kids off of them), playing with Fly (the dog), brian and my dad moving the water pipes, horseback riding, painting rock creatures and animals, chillin out...and seriously, how many places can you practice shooting off your back porch?? hahahaha! more of our "planned" activities to come...
