Memorial Day!

Well, we all know I love to have parties-so what better way to celebrate our nation's heros but with a PARTY! We had a bunch of friends over, cooked food, and visited. I also found this amazing quote....

Today while stopped at a traffic light, offer a silent prayer of gratitude for the men and women who have served and are now serving in our armed forces. All the rights and privileges we enjoy today are the result of their loyalty, valor, commitment, and sacrifice.

Canyon Lake (again!)

ok- so we love canyon lake!! We went there this past saturday with our friends, the Jessops. It was so fun! We had lunch and swam for EVER! We walked out to this little island thing which was awesome...shallow parts for the kids...deep parts for the grown-ups! Loved it! Expect more pics from future trips! We've found a new fav summer spot!

FHE Fun

Hello All! We went to Alamo Golf club for FHE this past monday--I REALLY need to learn some putting skills!! :) Afterwards, we went to Coldstone to get an ice cream. Here are some way silly pics I thought were cute and funny! notice what's in sydnee's hair....ice cream AND marshmallows. YUM!

Today we went to the driving range for some "lesson" in how to swing a golf club. I didn't do AS horribly as I thought I would. I only missed the ball 2 times. But what really impressed me is Brian!! That kid can swing-- and he knows what he's doing. I think we may be on to something there....he starts his Golf Academy in 3 weeks, so we'll see how he does! I'm sure he'll be awesome. I have to say, it WAS fun, and I DID like it. After the driving range, we went and got me some super cute golf shoes, and some gloves for Brian and I. Ahh, what fun.....ENJOY!

Just fun

so we went over to Kip and Kajsa's house last night for some pizza, fun, and a very sad Jazz game. Sorry KIP! really- i did want them to win! anyway- here are some cute pics i took of the kids before they went to bed. A few cuties for sure!

Happy Mother's Day

Hello all you mothers!! Happy Day to you! here's to us for all the stuff we do (and put up with!) Motherhood is not for the weak! We are super--and should be praised more often! Love you moms! Especially all the ones who affect my life directly! here's some pics from my day! I got some super great awesome wonderful PINK GOLF CLUBS!! really, i said i would never golf, but i've decided to try now that i have a perfect set of clubs! I CAN"T WAIT!!

My 2 reasons for being a mom!

Port Royal- Port Aransas (THE BEACH!)

so --keeping with our tradition of going to Port A every spring and fall, we went to the beach this weekend for 2 1/2 days and it was so fun!! the kids had an amazing time, and so did I! they are both finally at the age where you can put a lifejacket on them and let them jump in and out of the pool--while i read and sunbathed on the patio!! LOVE THAT! we had great weather friday and saturday, but sunday morning while the kids were swimming in the pool, it started to rain. oh well- we did have 2 good days. we saw a ton of jellyfish- sydnee was terrified of crabs biting her in the ocean, and brian stated that he "hated the way the water tasted" they definately preferred the pool to the ocean. (i LOVE jumping in the ocean and swimming in waves!) we got sharktooth necklaces and carmel nut fudge from the candyshop on saturday and played dora candyland on the porch at night- we had a blast! Be prepared for TONS of pics!!
